Methodist English Medium School (MEMS), a program of Bangladesh Methodist Church Trust is a true example of Missionary school that serves in the country. The seed of MEMS was planted officially on 07 January, 1998. Since then it has got a remarkable start by the positive response of greater Mirpur and adjacent communities and has been running with glory and fame. MEMS is registered with the Secondary and Higher-Secondary Education Board,Dhaka as an English Medium School (O & A Levels) under the Registration of Private School’s Amendment Ordinance 1989 ( Registration no. 1794/07). It has also been registered with Edexcel international and recognized as O/A level Exam Center(Center no.90320).MEMS Is affiliated with British Council ,Dhaka who administers O/A level Examinations. MEMS is run under a strong supervision of a Governing Board Chaired by Mr. S.K. Kim, A Christian Missionary from South Korea. It entire works are motivated to build up a community where, as it believes, its blessed children will dominate the future nation And the global community as well. MEMS wants to be known as an icon of good news for all . MEMS happily announces that it has a record of the highest number of O and A level candidates in the history of greater Mirpur, who have successfully pass their examinations obtaining good grades. Many of its students have been studying in leading and renowned universities home and abroad. MEMS is proud of its Founder Mr. S.k. Kim and present Principal Mr. Subrata Edward Gomes who is an icon of an eventful career. He has been successful in leading several institutions and organizations as well. Completing his higher education from the university of portland,Oregon U.S.A , he joined in at Notre Dame College, Dhaka as a lecturer in History. He worked as a Vice Principal at Oxford International School, Dhaka and as Founder Principal for HEED International School, Dhaka. MEMs has an experienced and committed group of teaching faculties who guide and prepare students from Play group to O Levels. It is not merely an institution-it is an integrated effort, A name that share child’s all-round potential to foster difference in English Medium Education.
